摘  要:A low-complexity algorithm for Direction of arrival (DOA) estimation based on Conjugate gradient (CG) method is proposed in this paper. The orthogonal residual vectors in CG method span the signal subspace employed by the Multiple signal classification (MUISC) spectrum. The computational complexity of the proposed algorithm is greatly reduced, since it does not involve the estimation of the covariance matrix of observation data and Eigenvalue decomposition (EVD). Besides, a new cri- terion for the dimension estimation of the signal subspace is also proposed, which can significantly overcome the leak between the signal subspace and noise subspace in the absence of the knowledge of source signal enumeration and desired signals. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the approximate performance of the proposed method comparable to the traditional EVD method, and the significant reduction in computational complexity due to the use of finite conjugate iterations.
