摘  要:Object tracking and the Quality of services (QoS) control is one of the key issues in wireless sensor networks. In order to track objects and provide informa- tion about the location, trajectory and identity for each object, we propose a new object tracking and QoS Con- trol scheme using both infrared sensors and video cameras. Object searching is done using a three level wavelet rep- resentation, which can significantly reduce the searching space. Hierarchical wavelet representation will also facil- itate QoS control in the wireless sensor network environ- ment. The experimental result shows that this new method can achieve better performance than existing algorithms, and can be applied to dynamically track the bandwidth variation.
