流散身份认同——读V.S.奈保尔的《世间之路》

摘　　要：流散主体所面对的不仅仅是远离家园的怀旧诗情,更要在遭遇"他"文化的过程中进行身份认同的抉择。后殖民文学当然不是唯一的案例,但它无疑是流散主体身份认同叙事中最具代表性的演示。本文选取后殖民文学的佼佼者、2001年诺贝尔文学奖得主V.S.奈保尔的《世间之路》为研究对象,探讨后殖民主体如何在流散的经历中通过重新书写自己的历史,构建出克服了乡愁的、混合的、动态的流散身份认同。Diasporas are not only culturally nostalgic, but also confront identity problems when exposed to ＂other＂ culture （s）. Among a variety of identity narratives, postcolonial literature is undoubtedly a most representative one. By looking into V. S. Naipaul＇ s A Way in the World, this paper explores how postcolonial subjects construct their hybrid and dynamic identity by way of rewriting their history.
