摘　　要：《了不起的盖茨比》、《马丁伊登》与《推销员之死》通过描述主人公以不同方式追求美国梦,皆以失败告终的悲惨经历,奏响了美国梦幻灭的挽歌。Great Gatsby, Death of a Salesman and Martin Eden play the elegy of the disillusion of the American dream through the description of the tragic experience of three protagonists, who pursue the American dream in different ways but fail without exception.
