摘　　要：XORP是工业界重要的可扩展开放路由平台,其边界网关协议(BGP)模块虽然满足了BGP4+的要求,但仍需进行多协议扩展以满足新的需求。该文通过研究如何在XORP中对BGP进行多协议扩展以满足4over6和多协议标签交换虚拟专用网(MPLSVPN)的需求,总结出一种通用的扩展方法:将非传统多协议BGP(MPBGP)报文形式转换为传统形式并添加相应的BGP管道。在XORP中根据该方法进行扩展的4over6MPBGP已经成功应用于4over6过渡机制。实验结果表明,4over6MPBGP的性能与IPv6单播BGP的性能相当。XORP （eXtensible Open Router Platform） is an important extensible open router platform used industry. Although its Border Gateway Protol module satisfies the BGP4 ＋ requirements, new applications will require multi-protocol extensions. A general method for extending multiple protocols to BGP in XORP was developed by analyzing the extensions of 4 over 6 multi-protocol BGP （MPBGP） and multi-protocol label switching virtual private networks （MPLS VPN）. The system translates the unconventional MPBGP into a conventional form and adds the corresponding BGP plumbing. The XORP 4 over 6 MPBGP using this method was implemented in 4 over 6 transition mechanism with tests showing that the performance of the 4 over 6 MPBGP is equvalent to IPv6 Unicast MPBGP.
