摘　　要：民国时期图书馆学人与商务印书馆之间,特别是与王云五之间曾经发生过一场学术论战,主要围绕着《万有文库》的分类和卡片,以及《中外图书统一分类法》和四角号码检字法等问题展开。该文揭示出这场学战的深层次原因在于图书馆学人与外行之间,以及图书馆界与出版界之间存在的天然矛盾。During the Republic of China, the LS professionals and Wang Yun - wu, the chief of Commercial Press, used to have an academic argument on the classification, catalogue and the content of Wan You Wen Ku. Besides, they still had different opinions on Wong＇ s System for the Uniform Classification of Chinese and Foreign Books and ＂Four - comer Numeral System＂. This paper tries to reveal the deep reasons of the academic argument, which are the inherent conflicts between the LS professionals and the laymen, and that between libraries and publishers.
