摘　　要：文章以西南山区市场上淋水开裂的制动鼓为研究对象,从制动鼓的材质、结构及制动操作习惯等几个方面来研讨了制动鼓淋水开裂的原因,并且从中找出延长制动鼓寿命的具体解决方案,从而为解决类似问题提供了一定的思路。This paper focuses its analysis on an example of the craze of brake drum obtained from a market in the southwest mountainous areas. The paper researched on some causes of the craze of the brake＇drum from following aspects： material, configuration of brake, and the habit of brake operation, and found out some specific ways to prolong the life of the brake drum,so that we can offere some solutions to the similar problems.
