摘　　要：目前特色数据库建设已成为各高校图书馆文献信息资源建设的重要内容。中国珍稀动物数据库选择北京拓尔思信息技术有限公司开发的"TRS"数据库管理系统,论述了该数据库建设的必要性、实现过程、构建模式以及应注意的问题。Now the construction of Characteristic Database has become very important content of the construction of the information resources in college libraries.This paper makes an example with the construction of multimedia Database of Chinese rare animals based on TRS Platform,and discusses the necessity,implementation process,construction pattern and matters that should pay attention to in the process of building database of characteristic specialized subject
