摘　　要：城市功能定位对于城市的发展意义重大,是城市发展的方向标和动力源。进入新世纪以来,乌鲁木齐市依据其在新疆和中亚地区的地位和优势,提出了建设现代化国际商贸城的奋斗目标,并且在此基础上进一步明确了城市功能定位,即建设"亚心之都、国际都市、商旅名城、宜居城市"。本文应用城市功能定位的相关理论,在对乌鲁木齐的现实城市功能进行评价的基础上,分析了乌鲁木齐城市发展现状与城市功能定位之间的差距,提出建设宜居城市是实现城市功能定位的重要突破口,并且提出了一些实现城市功能定位的对策。The city function position is of great value to city development, and is direction sign and the power supply of the urban development. In the new century, rested on the position and the superiority in Xinjiang and Central Asia region, Urumqi City put forward the goal of constructing modernization international trade center, and clear about the city function position in this foundation, namely ＂metropolis in the Asian center, the international metropolis, famous city of the trade and tourism, livable city＂. This article applies the related theory of the city function position, based on the appraisal to Urumqi＇s realistic city function, analyses the disparity between the present development situation of Urumqi and the city function position, proposed that constructing livable city is important gambit of achieving the city function position and some countermeasure.
