摘 要:胞外聚合物(EPS)由于具有独特的性能,在废水处理过程中扮演着重要角色,已成为目前的研究热点之一。它是一种附着于细胞表面的不溶性有机物,其主要来源于微生物的新陈代谢和细胞自溶,主要由多糖、蛋白质、核酸和腐殖酸等组成。本文在介绍胞外聚合物的组成、性质和特性的基础上,对生物膜、污泥和细菌胞外聚合物的提取技术、胞外聚合物组成和表面特性分析方法的研究概况进行了综述,并总结了近年来胞外聚合物的发展趋势和应用前景,为胞外聚合物的进一步研究和应用提供有价值的参考。Extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) plays an important role on the removal of pollutant in the wastewater due to its special properties, and its study is one of the hottest research fields in recent years. EPS is some kinds of important indiscerptible organics, usually attached on the cell wall and derived from bacteria metabolism and cell lysis. This substance mainly consists of polysaccharides, proteins, nucleic and humic acid. EPS has a negatively gel matrix with extremely diverse characteristics and a wide variety of functional groups. At present, the research on the mechanism and the role of EPS is still in an early stage, with a lot of problems to be explored. Based on the components, characteristics and properties of EPS, the research progress of the techniques for the EPS extraction, methods of its composition and property analysis is reviewed in this paper. The development trend and potential applications of EPS are discussed. The paper may serve a reference for further studies on EPS.
