摘　　要：随着上海经济、社会和文化等各项事业的快速发展。上海的人口也在迅速增长。本文从人口总量、人口分布和人口密度3个方面着手．对上海人口的现状特点及其与2001年总体规划目标之间的异同进行了初步分析．并对未来的规划工作提出了一定的建议．With the rapid development of local economic, social and culture in Shanghai, Shanghai＇s population has increased rapidly in these years. Based on studying the data of total population size, population distribution and population density, the paper tires to analyze the difference and similarity between current characters of Shanghai＇s population and the aim of population development in Shanghai master plan 2001 and tries to give some suggestions for the planning-making work in future.
