摘　　要：GILS系统是由美国政府建立的一个旨在方便用户获取美国政府信息的系统。作者研究了该系统发展所经历的几个阶段及其服务模式的演变过程,以期找出该系统发展趋势及系统成功关键因素,为我国政府信息公开系统的建设提供借鉴。Government Information Locator Service （GILS） was created by U.S. government to make it easier for every to get the government information. The author details the several stage of the development of this system, and the way these systems work, so as to identify the development trend and key success factors of this system, which is important for the development of China Government Information Locator Service.
