摘　　要：较为全面地讨论了IC与传统对象之间相比较的非传统特性。认为:IC与传统图书馆相比较,具有一站式集成化无缝服务、扩展性功能综合配置、多元化空间结构布局、全新的管理和服务理念等非传统特性;IC与数字图书馆相比较,具有丰富而弹性的资源配置、广泛协调的合作化管理、更加积极的学习干预等非传统特性;IC与通常意义上的文献信息(资源)共享相比较,具有从"物"到"人"的工作重心的转移、由分散到集中的资源组织与提供方式的转变、由单一到多样的实施范围的改变等特点。The non-traditional characteristics of information commons （IC） compared with traditional object are investigated comprehensively in this paper. Compared with traditional library, IC has nontraditional characteristics such as providing one-station integrated seamless service, extensible function configuration, diversified space structure layout, and brand new management and service idea. Compared with digital library, IC has non-traditional characteristics such as abundant and flexible resource distribution, extensive and harmonious cooperative management, and more motivated learning intervention. Compared with ordinary document infornlation （resource） sharing, IC has characteristics such as the shift of work focus from ＂thing＂ to ＂human＂, the change from dispersive resource organization and provision mode to centralized one, the change from simple implementation scope to diversified one.
