摘　　要：介绍用重铬酸钾作氧化剂测定水质中化学需氧量(COD)的基本原理。讨论氧化剂、掩蔽剂(HgSO4)、催化剂适宜用量,并采用一条标准曲线(CODCr0～1000mg/L)代替原来低、高两条标准曲线进行测定,线性方程y=0.0007x-0.0089,R2=0.9996,方法准确、可靠。The basic principle of determination of COD in water quality with potassium dichromate as oxidizing agent is introduced. The suitable amounts of oxidizing agent, masking agent （HgSO4）, catalyst are discussed, with the determination of COD using a standard curve（ CODCr 0 - 1 000rag/L） instead of the original low-high two standard curves. The linear equation is y = 0.0007x-0.0089, with R^2= 0.9996, the method is accurate and reliable.
