摘　　要：毛古斯作为土家族一种古老的文化艺术事象,起源于人类原始的采集、狩猎和农耕文化。从毛古斯表演的场次及蕴涵的文化来看,毛古斯的演化历程可以说就是土家族历史发展与文明进程的缩图,清楚地记录着人类从猿到人转变的进化历程及人类历史的发展进程,同时也反映出土家族的祖神崇拜经历了从女祖崇拜到男祖崇拜,从远祖崇拜到近祖崇拜的演进历程。Mao Goose as a kind of Tujia events of ancient culture and arts comes from the human being＇s primitive collections, the culture of hunting and farming . In terms of the show times and the cultural connotation of Mao Goose, Mao Goose＇s process of evolution can be said as the thumbnail of Tujia development of history and civilization, it recorded the human being＇s process of evolution from the apes to the mankind and the development of human being＇s history. Simultaneously, it also reflected Tujia＇s ancestral worship from the women ancestor worship to the men ancestor worship for, from the far ancestral worship to the near ancestral worship.
