摘　　要：徐特立不仅在教育方面取得了突出的成就,而且德高望重,深受全党全国人民的尊敬和爱戴。这与他的思想品质是分不开的,而其中非常重要的一点就是实事求是的作风。徐特立在一生中极力推崇实事求是的工作作风,明确提出"实事求是,不自以为",并做过一些论述和阐释,丰富了"实事求是"的内涵;在实践中,徐特立对待自己、对待他人、对待工作,始终坚持实事求是的原则,表现出一代伟人热爱真理、崇尚真理的高贵品德。XU Te-li has made outstanding achievements in education, at the same time he has been highly respected and loved by people throughout the country. This is inseparable from the qualities of his ideas, the most important point of which is his style of seeking truth from facts. Xu Teli strongly respected the work style of seeking truth from facts, clearly stating “seeking truth from facts and not just thinking”, and elaborated on that. His ideas have enriched the connotation of seeking truth from facts. In practice, Xu Teli always adhered to the principle of seeking truth from facts, showing the noble virtues of a great man who loves the truth and advocates the truth.
