摘　　要：广州是岭南园林发展的中心城市。新中国成立60年来,广州先后建成了白云山山庄旅舍、北园酒家、兰圃、越秀公园、华南植物园、白天鹅宾馆中庭"故乡水"、芳华园、草暖公园、云台花园、粤晖园等一大批享誉海内外的精品庭园,受到国内外同行的一致赞誉。使岭南古典园林"务实平和,开放兼容,创新求变"的造园理念得到传承和发展,并在造园实践中形成了现代岭南园林的造园手法和艺术特色:继承传统造园精髓,融汇中外优秀技法,布局灵巧别致生动,游线组织流畅舒展,建筑淡雅轻巧通透,室内室外景色交融,园林植物多姿多彩,构件工艺精美细腻,巧于因借善用资源,敢为人先勇于创新。Guangzhou is the central city which supported the development of the Lingnan garden. Since the founding of the PRC,the green space construction in Guangzhou walked with difficulties,but fortunately,during this period a number of outstanding gardens were completed,such as the Baiyun Mountain Resort Hostel,the Orchid Garden,North Park Restaurant,and Yuexiu Park. Since reform and opening up,with the rapid development of green spaces in Guangzhou,many excellent gardens such as ＂The Home Water＂ of White Swan Hotel,Fanghua Park,the Warm Grass Park,Yuntai Garden,and Yuehui Park were built. These gardens were known at home and abroad,and thanks to them the Lingnan modern concept of gardening was passed and developed：being traditional,pragmatic calm,open-minded and innovative. And a new kind of gardening practices of modern Lingnan garden was formed：carry on the essence of traditional gardening,blending good Chinese and foreign techniques,the smart and vivid layout,the comfortable and smooth tour route,the elegant and lightweight construction,blending indoor and outdoor scenery,a variety of gardening plant,the fine and smooth craftworks,taking good use of resources,and being bold in innovation.
