摘　　要：简要论述了微波能的基本原理及其优点，初步分析了微波与物料之间的相互作用，讨论了微波能在矿冶工程领域（特别在提取冶金工艺中）的一些潜在应用及其发展前景。Fundament of mierowave energy and its major advantages were described briefly.The interaction between microwave and minerals was analyzed.Some potential applications and prospects of microwave energy in mining and metallurgical engineering (especially in extractive metallurgy) have been discussed.
