摘　　要：日本第45届众议院选举在日本的宪政史上具有里程碑意义,大选所产成的民主党鸠山由纪夫政权终结了"55年体制"形成以来自民党在半个世纪中雄霸日本政坛的历史。对战后日本政党政治过程进行具体考察,可以发现日本泡沫经济崩溃与冷战结束相重合的情形,把日本推向了国家向何处去的战略抉择的十字路口时,自民党未能像60年代和80年代那样,担负起带领日本适时实现国家战略目标转换的历史使命。究其原因,在于长期执政所形成的种种弊端积重难返,因而失去作为执政党所应具有的及时应对国内外重大转折和变故的活力和功能之所致,也由此输掉了本次大选。另外,对于民主党政权下的中日关系,与自民党时代相比,总体上作乐观估计。特别是鸠山对推动东亚共同体所持的积极态度应予肯定并正面给予呼应。但同时对复杂的安保领域,应保持适度警觉,冷静对处。The 45th Lower House election is a milestone in Japanfs constitutional history. The Yukio Hatoyama administration of the winning Demoeratic Party of Japan ends the LDPa half - century dominance of Japan＇s political arena ever since the so - called ＂55 - year system＂. By examining Japen＇s postwar party politics, this paper concludes that both the collapse of its bubble economy and the end of the Cold War pushed Japan into a strategic crossroad. However, the LDP, unlike what it did in the 1960s and 1980s, failed to shoulder the historic mission of tranaforming Japan＇s national strategy timely. The reason behind this failure flee in its inability to solve those ingrained problems as a result of being in power for a long time, and its loss of vitality and dynamism as a ruling party to properly cope with essential transitions end incidents at home and abroad. This is also the reason why the LDP lost this election. In addition, we should hold an optimistic estimation of the overall Sino - Japan relations in the DPJ administration compared with the LDP times. Especially, we should acknowledge and positively respond Hatoyama＇s active attitude towards East Asian Community. At the same time, it is also necessary to maintain an appropriate alert to the complicated security issues end cope with them cool - headedly.
