摘　　要："玩笑"话语能够增强话语的表现力,使人们之间的交际变得更加轻松有趣,有利于营造一种愉悦的话语氛围。"玩笑"话语在用词上表现出不礼貌的假象,很容易引起话语交际的误解。运用关联理论,从听话人的社会心理反应入手,分析对"玩笑"话语的误解产生的原因,可以在会话中找出话语意图的最佳关联,从而避免听话人对"玩笑"话语的误解。Banter enriches our daily discourse greatly, creating a cheerful discourse atmosphere. Banter is mock impoliteness; however, its wording tends to be impolite, which can probably cause misunderstanding in discourse communication. This paper analyses these misunderstandings in terms of hearer＇s social psychology, and uses Relevance Theory to guide a correct pragmatic reasoning of banter, i. e. finding out the optimal relevance of speaker＇s discourse intention.
