摘　　要：通过将园林和城市进行关联性跨越的探讨角度研究了扬州瘦西湖。其主要研究内容为:1)扬州城市发展和水系沿革与瘦西湖;2)扬州城市文化和商业活动与瘦西湖。主要结论是:"城河湖水一带,绿杨城郭一体",它们同样表达了扬州瘦西湖极富创意的的魅力和文化内涵。The paper probes into the Slender West Lake of Yangzhou by a crossover sludy of combining garden and city, There are two aspects concerned and discussed as below： 1, the Slender West Lake and the development of city and the evolution of water system in ancient Yangzhou; 2, the Slender West Lake and the city culture and the economic activities in ancient Yangzhou. The conclusion of the paper is： ＂one waterway of the city river and the lake, and the integrity of green willows and city walls＂ both express the charm of creativity in the Slender West Lake and its cultural connotations.
