摘　　要：数据挖掘技术能够帮助人们发现隐藏在信息背后的线索,为预测和决策提供服务,在许多领域有着广泛应用。将数据挖掘技术应用于图书馆信息化建设,预测读者的信息需求,掌握读者借阅规律,为图书馆的采购、流通、网站建设以及读者服务等方面提供决策支持,有利于更好地满足读者需求,提升图书馆的信息化服务水平。介绍了数据挖掘技术的基本概念和功能,阐述了数据挖掘技术在图书馆信息化建设中的作用,以及如何利用数据挖掘技术开展图书馆信息化建设。Data mining technology can help people discover clues hid behind information and provide services for forecast and decision making, thus finding wide applications in many fields. It is favorable to better meet readers＇ needs and enhance libraries＇ computerized service level to apply data mining technology to the informatization construction of libraries, forecast readers＇ needs, master their reading law, and provide decision - making supports for libraries in purchase, circulation, website construction, reader service, etc. The article introduces the basic idea and functions of data mining technology, expounds the roles of the technology in library inforrnatization construction, and states how to apply the technology to the library informatization construction.
