摘 要:In the process of English teaching for the college art students, teachers are always hunted by the following problem: No matter how hard they try, there is not much response from the students. What are the reasons? The very important one is that students lack English learning motivation. Therefore, the present study examines the motivational beliefs of first-year art major undergraduates, aiming to increase college art students' interest in learning English, promote their active learning and improve their learning results.
