摘　　要：分析了在工程勘察领域开发计算机专家系统的必要性，论证了专业特点对系统的要求，介绍了在上述工作基础上研制成功并已投入使用的“工程勘察与地基评价计算机专家系统（ＥＩＦＥＥＳ）”的主要功能与特点。该系统的开发成功对勘察行业计算机应用水平的提高和技术进步将起到很大的推动作用。Based upon the analyses of the special needs demanded by geotechnical engineering and the characteristics required by engineering investigation, the engineering investigation and foundation evaluation computer expert system has been successfully developed. The work accomplished during the establishment of the system as well as the main feature of the system was introduced in this paper. It is believed that the development of the system would greatly expedite the technical progress in the field of foundation engineering.
