摘　　要：为了系统分析性别结构失衡及其产生的社会风险,研究人口性别结构失衡对公共安全与社会稳定的影响,探讨促进性别平等、改善人口性别结构、推动社会可持续发展的公共政策和战略,以人口性别结构为切入点,提出一种跨学科的研究范式与研究框架。首先讨论中国性别失衡与社会可持续发展的研究背景;其次简要评述国内外性别失衡的研究和实践现状;再次基于对性别失衡问题复杂性的认识,引入新的研究视角,提出一种新的研究范式和框架;最后展望进一步的研究和实践工作。To systematically analyze the imbalance of gender structure, and relevant social risks which it produces, to study its impacts on public security, social stability, and to explore the public policy and strategy in order to accelerate gender equity, give rise to a more balanced gender structure, and drive social sustainable development in China, this paper puts forward an inter-disciplinary research paradigm and framework from the perspective of gender structure of population. First, the paper deals with the background of the research on China＇s gender imbalance and sustainable development of the society. Then, it reviews briefly the study and practice status quo of gender imbalance at home and abroad. Based on the complexity of the gender imbalance issue and introducing a new study perspective, the paper presents a new research paradigm and framework and finally it looks forward to the further research and practical work.
