摘　　要：主要研究非线性波动方程——Kirchhoff方程解的存在性.Kirchhoff方程是一类重要的非线性方程,它起源于对弹性细绳的微小振动的描述,在研究Kirchhoff方程的初边值问题的过程中,利用Galerkin逼近方法,证明了非线性Kirchhoff方程解在空间H1(Ω)×L2(Ω)的存在性.The main purpose of this paper is to study the existence and asymptotic behavior of the solution of a nonlinear Kirchhoff equation. By using Galerkin approximation, the existence of solution in H^1（Ω）×L^2（Ω） for the initial boundary problem of the non- linear Kirchhoff equation is proved.
