摘　　要：巴金逝世曾经被宣布为“五四”传统的“终结”，这样的思维逻辑恰恰表现出了我们与“五四”传统的深刻的隔膜。在纪念“五四”新文化运动90周年的今天，重新检讨巴金这样的“五四”老人的文学价值，恰恰是我们重新认识“五四”传统的最好的方式。The death of Ba Jin was once declared as the ＂end＂ of the tradition of the May 4th Movement, which is just reflective of the striking estrangement between the tradition of the May 4th Movement and us. On the occasion of commemorating the 90th anniversary of the May 4th New Culture Movement, a reappraisal of literary values of veteran literati of the May 4th Movement like Ba Jin is just the best way for us to realize again the tradition of the May 4th Movement.
