汉英标记性前置主位的顺应性分析

摘　　要：运用语言顺应论,寻找到形式—功能—意义之间标志性英汉前置主位的语用理据,验证了句法变异往往并不受句法因素制约,并发现标志性前置主位作为一种变异构式的形式,是言语使用者在语言语境和交际语境中与受众协商顺应的结果,语境和结构相互顺应得以发展,形成一个以语用策略为基础的选择过程。Jef Verschueren conceives that the explicit phenomenon such as preposition in syntactic processing should be analyzed with great care.He did not offer,however,further exploration.This paper attempts to find the pragmatic motivations of the Marked Preposed Theme （MPT） among form-function matching,to testify that syntactic variations are not always restricted by syntax.It is found that,as a variable construction,the MPT results from negotiation and adaptation in linguistic context and communicative context where context and structure adapt mutually.The use of MPT is a process of choice making based on pragmatic strategies.
