摘　　要：根据上海站多媒体信息网与信息中心的实际需求，重点介绍了静态图象压缩标准ＪＰＥＧ的基本原理。According to the real demand of the multimedia information and the information center in Shanghai Railway Station, the basic principle of JPEG standard for static image compression has been introduced.It also analyses and gives several ways to implement such a standard by means of hardware and software.
