摘　　要：介绍了南水北调中线工程总干渠地形图库信息系统的设计与实现的思路及成果，探讨了ＧＩＳ（ＧｅｏｇｒａｐｈｉｃＩｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎＳｙｓｔｅｍ）大型数据管理的问题，特别对ＧＩＳ图库管理技术包括图库建立、维护与管理以及图库系统设计过程中的一般原则、方法和技术进行了较深入的探讨．The idea of designing and implementing the map library management system of main canal of the middle route project of south to north water transfer and its results,are described.The problem of large scale data management for geographic information system (GIS) is discussed.Especially the management technology of map library for GIS including the primary principle,methods and technology of creation,management and maintenance of the map library,are discussed deeply.
