摘　　要：《麦克白》中的命运因素不能简单地视为暗喻或象征。它们不仅构成了该剧的结构框架,而且麦克白败亡的原因除了伦理因素外,主要就在于他对待命运信疑参半的态度。通过麦克白的命运悖论,莎士比亚探索了一颗敏感却不完美的灵魂在一个远非自己能控制的世界里的行动轨迹。The fatalistic elements in Macbeth cannot simply be dismissed as metaphors or symbols.They constitute the structural frame of the play;and more importantly,Macbeth s downfall,apart from his moral deficiency,mainly springs from his ambivalent attitude toward fate.Through the paradox involved in Macbeth’s tragedy,Shakespeare powerfully explores how a sensitive,though not flawless,soul will react in a world that is to a great extent beyond our control.
