摘　　要：传统的Web技术的弱点是用户在向远程服务器提交请求直到请求返回到客户端的时间内客户智能等待,降低了Web应用的效率。Ajax(异步JavaScript与可扩展标记语言)是Web应用开发的一种新理念,它将现有的多种技术进行结合。Ajax技术的出现有效的克服这个缺点。文章阐述了Ajax的基本概念、相关技术,探讨了Ajax技术的Web应用和传统Web应用的区别。最后以"级联菜单"为例说明如何利用Ajax构建更为动态和响应更灵敏的Web应用程序。Ajax为交互较多、频繁读数据的Web应用提供了一个很好的解决方案。Web applications had some weaknesses in transmitting datum.Users could do nothing while the server disposed datum.Ajax（Asynchronous Java Script and Extensible Markup Language） was a new concept for Web application development.It would combine a variety of technologies available.Ajax was such a technique that it could provide the efficiency of Web application.In this article,the Basic conception and the technologies of the Ajax were described.The difference between the Web application based on Ajax and the traditional Web application was discussed. Finally, an example named hier-archy-menu was given to illustrate how to construct a more dynamic and more sensitive response to Web applications by using Ajax. Ajax is a good solution to read data from server frequently in the Web application.
