摘　　要：介绍了汕头市澄海区供水管网地理信息系统的总体目标、系统结构、开发的功能以及一年多来的建立和应用情况,阐述了系统建立后存在的问题并提出了相应的解决办法。系统的建立使城市供水的生产管理水平提高到新的台阶,为企业管网科学运行和安全打下坚实的基础。The general goal, system structure, functions, and application of GIS for water supply network in Chenghai District, Shantou City were introduced, as well as the issues existed and corresponding methods for the GIS system were proposed. The GIS system could enable to bring operation and management to a higher level, and lay compact foundation for safety and scientific operation.
