“五化”背景下城市民族工作的新视角

摘　　要：在工业化、城市化、信息化、市场化和国际化背景下,少数民族人口迁徙与流动的日益加快,给我国城市民族工作带来了新的机遇和挑战。城市民族工作要坚持统筹兼顾,以促进少数民族和民族地区的整体发展与社会和谐为目标,以改善民生为重点,加大发达城市对口帮扶少数民族贫困地区的力度,在教育、医疗卫生、社会保障、就业等公共服务领域保障城市各民族群众的基本权益,并在注重城市化进程中少数民族文化的传承与保护的同时,加快城市民族工作的立法进程。In the background of industrialization, urbanization, informationization, marketization and internationalization, the shift and migration of minority population is quickening, which has created new opportunities and challenges for ethnic work in urban areas. It is stated that overall consideration to ethnic work in urban areas should be given, further overall development of minority -inhabited areas and social harmony be taken as its goal, the improvement of people＇s livelihood be stressed, more help and support from developed urban areas to minority -inhabited pov- erty - stricken areas be provided, fundamental rights and interests of all nationalities in urban areas be safeguarded in such public service areas as education, medicare, social security and employment, the inheritance and protection of minority cultures be ensured and legislative process be sped up.
