摘　　要：无相转移剂存在下,水相中由甲酸催化芳香醛与5,5-二甲基-1,3-环己二酮缩合反应制备了标题化合物。该方法反应时间短、收率高、操作简便、对环境友好。经1H NMR和IR确证了产物的结构。A novel synthesis method of 3, 3, 6, 6-tetramethyl-9-aryl-1,2, 3,4, 5,6, 7, 8-octahydroxanthene-1,8-dione was described via condensation of aromatic aldehydes with 5, 5- dimethyl-1, 3-cyclohexadione using formic acid as catalyst in aqueous without phase transfer reagent, which has many advantages of short reaction time, high yields and environmental friendliness. The structure of final products was identified by ^1HNMR and IR spectra.
