摘　　要：增长与环境问题一直争论不断,理解争论的实质对发展中国家选择合适的发展战略至关重要。文章对增长与环境问题研究的起源、发展以及最新进展进行详细说明,认为增长与环境问题应起源于稀缺资源对人口增长的约束;到目前为止,有关该问题的探讨经历了两次热潮和三个阶段。There is a strong controversy between the relationship of growth and environment. It is important for developing country to choice a suitable development strategy through the controversy. This paper gives a detail description to the origin,development and the latest progresses of the relations of growth and environment. It says that the origin of the controversy is the restraint of population growth by scarce resource. So far,the discussion on this issue has experienced two booms and three stages.
