摘　　要："话语标记"是近年来语用学和社会语言学研究的热点问题之一。从系统功能语言学角度探讨"话语标记"是一个全新的视角。将功能语言学中的三个纯理功能(概念功能、人际功能、语篇功能)作为研究的切入点用于探讨英语话语标记,可以进一步拓宽语言学对"话语标记"的研究途径,并提示话语标记的特性及其多功能性。The study of ＂ discourse markers＂ has been a heated topic of discussion in the past ten years or so in China and the perspectives of inquiry are mainly of pragmatics and sociolinguistics. Exploring the study of ＂discourse markers＂ from the perspective of systemic functional linguistics and taking the points of three metafunctions （ideational, interpersonal and textual in this linguistic theory） as an approach to the study of＂ discourse markers＂ would bring about more alternative approaches and give important implications for linguistic, pragmatic and function-al analyses of ＂discourse markers＂.
