摘　　要：根据现场调查、新闻发布会和政府部门报表等相关数据,分析了"5.12"汶川大地震人员伤亡的空间分布和时间变化特点,阐述了总人口、总面积、设防烈度和地震实际烈度等因素对死亡人数的影响,定量描述了报道死亡人数随时间的变化情况,给出了部分地区因不同原因造成的人员死亡比例。According to the data from field investigations, press conferences and report forms of government, this paper analyzes the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of ＂5 · 12＂ Wenchuan earthquake casualties. The factors affecting the number of deaths, such as total population, total aera, seismic fortification intensity, and actual intensity were discussed. Furthermore, the changes of the number of reported deaths with time were quantitatively described and the ratios of deaths caused by different reasons were provided.
