摘　　要：Generally regarded as one of the most talented and controversial writers in Britain, Jeanette Winterson has been noted for her outright problematisation of gendered identity as well as her dauntless exploration of female sexuality. The Powerbook, one of Jeanette Winterson's latest novels, could be seen as the most representative of her anti-essentialist views.
