Objective To study the changes of CD3^aimCD56^+ cell and its receptors in HIV-1 infected children. Methods Blood samples from 11 HIV-1 infected children and 10 healthy children were collected in EDTA coated vacutainer. The number of CD3^aimCD56^+ cells and the expression of its receptors were determined by flow cytometry. Results The number of CD3^aimCD56^+ cell in HIV- 1 infected children was higher than that in healthy children. Compared with healthy children ,no change was found in the expression of CD16 receptor in HIV-1 infected children ,but the expression of NKp30, NKG2D ,KIR2DL1 and CD244 receptors was significantly increased(P 〈 0.01 ). The expression of NKp44, NKp46, KIR3DL1 and NTB-A in HIV-1 infected children was also increased(P 〈 0.05 ), while the expression NKp80 receptor was decreased obviously(P 〈 0.01 ). Conclusion The number of CD3^aimCD56^+ cell in HIV-1 infected children was higher than that in healthy children. The expression of CD3^aimCD56^+ receptors changes dramatically in HIV-1 infected children.
