摘　　要：地理信息系统(GIS)在城市规划中的应用日趋广泛和深入。在城市规划编制中利用GIS的空间分析功能可以对规划中的复杂空间问题进行辅助决策,从而使城市规划方案更加合理可行。文章以安徽固镇经济开发区为例,分析了GIS在开发区总体规划中的应用,即建立开发区的数字高程模型(DEM)以进行各种空间分析,利用GIS的统计分析功能快速获取规划中的经济技术指标,旨在为科学合理地编制开发区总体规划提供定量化的分析手段和结果,从而起到决策支持的作用。Geographic information systems（GIS）have been more and more widely used in urban planning,and the GIS spatial analysis function can support decision-making for the complex spatial problems so that the planning scheme can be more reasonable and feasible in urban planning. The Guzhen economic development zone in Anhui Province is taken as a research object, and two applications of GIS in master planning of the development zone are analyzed. One is to set up a digital elevation model （DEM） for a variety of spatial analysis, and the other is to obtain the economic and technical indica- tors for planning quickly by using the statistical analysis function of GIS. The aim is to provide quan titative analysis and results for the scientific and rational planning through the application of GIS, which plays the role of decision support.
