摘　　要：工具理性是西方工业文明中占据统治地位的哲学思想,现代竞技体育作为人类工业文明的重要产物之一,自然也深受其影响:一方面,"利益空间"的不断生长和设定,使竞技体育成为各类参与者的特殊工具;另一方面,在竞技体育"工具化"发展趋势下,各种显而易见的矛盾和冲突始终伴随着其全球化进程。Instrumental rationality refers to a philosophical ideology having a dominating position in western industrial civilization. Modern competitive sports as an important product of human industrial civilization is of course affected profoundly by such a philosophical ideology： on the one hand, the ＂space of interests＂ is constantly expanded and set, which makes competitive sports a special instrument for various participants; on the other hand, under the trend of development of competitive sports becoming more and more instrument like, various obvious contradictions and conflicts have gone through the entire process of globalization of competitive sports.
