摘　　要：简述珠算在中国数学史中的地位和当今社会上评价珠算的两种倾向.介绍吴文俊先生对发展珠算事业的指导性建议.在珠算界与数学史界共同努力下,2008年6月珠算被列入国家级非物质文化遗产名录.This paper reviews briefly Chinese abacus＇ position in history of Chinese mathematics, two different attitudes in evaluation of Chinese abacus,and Prof. Wu Wen tsun＇s guiding suggestion for its development. Under the great efforts of researchers from the circles of Chinese abacus and history of mathematics,inspiring result obtained： in June 2008,Chinese abacus has been included in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China.
