摘　　要：汉密尔顿从人性恶的观点出发,相信霍布斯式的无政府状态是国际社会的基本特性,认同并顺从欧洲主导的国际关系原则,把国际关系视为国家间争夺权力和利益的斗争,排斥理想主义者所倡导的道德与伦理因素。在此基础上,他认为美国在对外关系中应该追求权力与商业利益,使美国成为英法那样强大的帝国。汉密尔顿的思想是美国外交中现实主义传统的起源,对当时和后来的美国外交产生了重要影响。汉密尔顿思想在一定程度上也糅合了美国例外论和使命观,这一点构成汉密尔顿主义与欧洲大陆现实主义的不同。Hamihon, in accordance with the theory that human nature is evil,believes Hobbes＇ s anarchy is the basic characteristic of international society; accepts and complies with Europe - leading principles of international relations; He considers international relations as the struggle for power and interests among nations and excludes the ethical principles, such as morality and obligation advocated by the idealist. On the basis of the above interpretation, Hamilton holds the opinion that America should seek for it＇ s own power and interests to make it become an empire as strong as the British and France empire. Hamilton＇ s thoughts, the origin of American realistic diplomatic tradition, have greatly influenced American diplomacy. Hamilton＇ s thoughts, to a certain degree, also mixes together with American Exeptionalism and idea of Mission, which is different from European realism.
