摘　　要：陈序经提出的“全盘西化论”在解放前和解放后都引起极大的争议，要对此论作出客观的评价应了解其形成的历史过程和产生的时代背景，要理解陈序经文化学理论体系的基本观点，明白其锋芒所指。Chen Xujing＇ s ＂wholesale Westernization＂ thinking aroused much controversy before and after liberation. By understanding the historical process and the background of ＂total Westernization,＂ and Chen Xujing＇ s basic point of view in Cultural Science System, we can make an objective assessment.
