摘 要:多分辨率模型作为一种加速实时显示的手段,近年来得到了普遍的重视和迅速的发展.但是关于在一个虚拟环境的漫游系统中如何有效利用这一技术的研究,目前国内外仍处于探讨阶段.与此同时,分形维数作为度量不规则程度的一种手段也日趋受到重视.以此为基础,本文提出了一种新的方法将三维模型表面组织成具有层次结构的多分辨率模型,这种结构便于实时地进行与视点相关的自适应简化,同时还实现了以条带的形式来显示模型的表面.在不影响视觉效果的前提下大幅度减少了绘制所需的三角面片数,实验表明,这种方法是成功并且有效的.As an approach to speed up the real time display, multiresolution modeling becomesmore attractive. How to utilize this technique in the walkthrough of virtual environment efficientlyis still an open problem. In addition, fractal dimension computing is a new method to measure theflatness of surfaces. Based on these two points, a new method is proposed to organize the triangleson the surface of 3D complex models into hierarchical multiresolution model. By the aid of hierarchy, models can be adaptively simplified according to view parameters- Furthermore, the stripstructure is employed for fast rendering of models. As a result, the rendering speed can be im-proved greatly. Some experimental results have shown the efficiency of this method.
