摘　　要：西方文明对近代中国文化遗产保护的发展产生了重要的影响。近代列强入侵和西学东渐,激发了民族意识,奠定了文化遗产保护的科学理论基础;西方社会制度的传入促进了文化遗产保护的公益性、政府性和工程机构的建立;西方学术教育体系为文化遗产保护培养了人才,推动了中国近代建筑学和建筑史学的发展以及建筑遗产保护思想的形成。This article analyzed the influence of western civilization upon China＇s cultural heritage conservation in the early modern era, including the following aspects： first, the invasion of foreign countries and importation of modern sciences accelerated the formation the national consciousness and scientific foundation of heritage conservation; Second, the influence of western social institutions promoted the foundation of governmental institutions, commonweal, and enterprises for heritage conservation in China; the third, western education and academic system benefited the nurture of modern conservation experts, development of the subject of architecture and architectural history in higher education, as well as the formation of academic Chinese conservation thoughts.
