摘　　要：针对《图书馆建设》2008年11期刊登的《建立在流沙上的理论:读者参与图书馆管理——读者参与图书馆管理悖论》一文,从读者参与图书馆管理的事项、读者参与的能力、读者参与的效率等方面与孙长怡先生进行商榷,认为"读者参与图书馆管理是建立在流沙上的理论"的观点是一种缺乏价值论、目的论指引的观点。目前,读者参与图书馆管理水平有待提高的客观现实并不能否认读者参与图书馆管理理论的意义及价值,这些正是读者参与图书馆管理理论所要解决的问题。Aiming at the article ＂Readers Taking Part in the Management of the Library Is Based on Shifting Sands One Erroneous Theory on Readers Taking Part in the Management of the Library＂ published in the 1 lth Issue of 2008 in Library Development, the author discusses with Sun Changyi on matters of readers participating in the library management, the readers＇ ability to participate, the efficiency of their participation, and so on, and points out that readers＇ participation in the library management is based on the theory of shifting sands is a viewpoint short of value and teleology guidance. Currently, the objective reality of readers＇ library management level to be improved can not deny the meaning and value of the theory, which is the issue that the theory of readers＇ participating in the library management needs to solve.
