大学生英语自主学习能力的研究与元认知策略培训的必要性

摘　　要：Through the research into college students＇ English autonomous learning ability of the non-English major students. That the cause why university students＇ English autonomous learning ability is weak is proved to be that they do not value the use of learning strategies. The use of learning strategies can promote the formation and enhancement of autonomous learning ability of the learners. Metacognitive strategy is a high-level management skill which can enable the learners to plan, regulate, monitor and evaluate actively their own learning process. Massive researches have proved whether metacognitive strategy is used successfully or not can directly affect the student learning result. So, it is necessary for teachers to cultivate and train the students to use metacogitive strategy in the university English teaching.本文通过封非英语专业的大学生自主学习能力的调查与研究，证实了大学生英语自主学习能力差的主要原因是目前的大学生普遍不重视使用学习策略。而使用学习策略能促进自主学习能力的形成与提高。元认知策略是让学习者主动计划、规范、监控和评估自己学习过程的一种高级管理技能，大量研究证明元认知策略运用成功与否会直接影响学生学习英语的效果。因此有必要在大学英语教学中封学生进行元认知策略的培养与训练．
