摘　　要：农民工权益的保护是社会各界关注的焦点,建立健全的农民工法律援助机制是保护农民工合法权益的重要途径,也是构建和谐社会和社会主义新农村的基本要求。针对目前农民工法律援助机制的不足提出一些改革的措施与建议,希望能够对农民工的权益保护有所裨益。Protection for peasant workers＇ rights and interests has become a focus in the society. The construction of legal aid system for presant workers is not only an important way to protect their rights and invests, but also it is the basic requirement for us to build a harmonious society and a new socialist countryside. This paper describes the defects of current legal aid system for presant workers and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions on how to overcome these defects, for the purpose of promoting the protection for their rights and interests.
